Dorothe and Guillaume chose North Mymms Park for their stylish wedding. They loved how beautiful the building was and that it had great potential for an outdoor ceremony which the couple were keen to have.
The venue is ‘dry hire’ so all that was included in the hire was the furniture. Everything else had to be sourced and hired in for the day.
The access times to this venue are also quite tight and everything had to be cleared by 2am the next morning. This was something that no newlyweds should have to worry about, so LMW oversaw all of the above and collaborated with the couple to bring their wedding vision to life.
Relaxed, stylish……seriously ‘WOW’
Dorothe & Guillaume were keen to have a fun wedding experience for all their guests. They also wanted lots of colour and a few quirky parts to the day. I made the final decision just as the clouds passed, to keep the wedding outside. Dorothe was so excited about this!! And what a beautiful ceremony it was. We added an abundance of bright florals to the gorgeous Loggia outside. The colours were stunning.
After the ceremony, we re-used all the flowers for the wedding breakfast and decor for the main house.
A fun element to the day was Laser Clay Shooting. This went down a treat – all the guests had a go and loved it. We turned it into a little competition and the winners were announced later on before the cake cutting.
We also spoiled the guests with gourmet ice cream and cocktails during the ‘cocktail hour’ after the wedding breakfast.
Louisa did such an amazing job for our wedding with all the guests saying what an incredible day it was! Louisa was always available and full of ideas. We were absolutely blown away with our amazing our wedding day!!!!! Highly recommend Louisa for your wedding planning! The elegant black & white ‘Marble Hall‘ was transformed into a disco dream, ready for the evening party. It did look very cool! The drinks were flowing and the DJ was on point with the music. Everyone was having a blast.
We also made sure there was some comfy seating nearby for older guests or children who needed to rest their dancing feet and relax.

As the clock struck midnight it was time for everyone to leave and some of the guests headed just around the corner to the venue’s on-site accommodation.
The LMW team and I worked tirelessly to make sure the venue was back to how we found it when we arrived by the 2am deadline. All hire items were arranged to be picked up that night and all the couple’s possessions safely stored nearby.
We were very luck to have this wedding featured on ‘rock My Wedding’.
Bespoke Full Planning service
Dorothe and Guillaume booked LMW for our Bespoke Full Planning service just after they had found their dream venue last year.
With monthly video calls, several site visits, and my trusted network of talented suppliers, the day was super stylish and perfect for Dorothe & Guillaume.
