Some weddings are so full of love, laughter, and style that they linger in your memory long after the last song has played — and Gemma & Olly’s celebration was exactly that. Set across three unforgettable days in May 2025, their Wilderness Reserve Wedding weekend perfectly captured the balance of romance, elegance, and fun, surrounded by family, friends, and the beautiful Suffolk countryside.

Pre-Wedding Pizza Party at The Walled Garden, Wilderness Reserve

The celebrations began the day before the wedding at The Walled Garden, where Gemma and Olly hosted a relaxed pre-wedding pizza party and dinner. Guests arrived to the sound of a roaming band, setting a joyful, spontaneous tone for the weekend ahead. Laughter, live music, and the scent of wood-fired pizza filled the air — the perfect start to a weekend of celebration.

The Wedding Day at Blyth Barn, Wilderness Reserve

he next day, the scene shifted to the beautiful Blyth Barn, where every detail reflected the couple’s vision of timeless romance and understated sophistication.

The ceremony was a breathtaking moment, with a string quartet playing softly as Gemma walked down the aisle surrounded by loved ones. After vows were exchanged, guests enjoyed an elegant wedding breakfast accompanied by live dinner music, creating an atmosphere of warmth and celebration.

The barn itself was dressed in blue and ivory hydrangeas, creating a classic yet contemporary look that perfectly complemented the venue’s natural textures and soft light. Every space was thoughtfully designed to feel inviting, refined, and full of heart.

Following the meal, the celebration flowed seamlessly into a lively cocktail hour, complete with a DJ keeping spirits high before the evening entertainment began. As night fell, the incredible Gatsby showband took to the stage — filling the dance floor and bringing an electric energy to the night’s festivities.

Where do I even start! Planning a wedding is no mean feat, but planning a 3 day wedding weekend is whole different level!!
From the very beginning, Louisa approached our celebration with unwavering dedication, care, and an attention to detail that was genuinely unmatched!
Every single element from the logistics, to the little touches, was executed with absolute precision. Louisa honestly, held everything (and everyone!) together, coordinating seamlessly behind the scenes so we could stay fully present and enjoy every moment of all three days!
No request was too much, no challenge was too big and Louisa handled every one of our ideas with calm, confidence and the most incredible organisation.
What truly stood out for us was Louisa’s ability to see the bigger picture, giving us advice on what she thought would work for each event, suggesting elements to add to our day, or things she thought might end up as wasted. She truly did not miss a beat or a detail.
Guests repeatedly have told us how beautifully run everything was and this is no exaggeration to say, we couldn’t have done it without her.
From the moment we met Louisa, we knew we were in good hands. What made our experience even more special, was that it never felt transactional. Talking to Louisa felt like talking to a friend. She genuinely cared, listened deeply and always made time for us, no matter how small the query or how last minute a change might have been!

Louisa really did bring professionalism but heart to our event. She handled every moving part and there were many!! With grace, and incredible energy.

We’ll never forget how supported we felt throughout our whole experience.

The final day brought everyone together once more for a relaxed poolside recovery brunch back at Blyth Barn, Wilderness Reserve. Guests gathered under the sunshine to relive their favourite moments from the weekend, share stories, and enjoy one last celebration before heading home.
